My Bookish Journey: From TV Addict to Avid Reader

So It Begins... Hi, welcome to this bookish adventure. I’m so glad you’ve taken the time to join me. I love shenanigans (I’m sure you do too). Thank you for coming along with me for the literary kind. Introduction to My Bookish Adventure Growing up, I never understood readers (not a great way to start a blog about reading). I didn’t understand the appeal. I grew up a television baby. If you put me in front of a screen (regardless of what was on), I would totally veg out. I got into the proverbial reading game late, like late late, like the party started and nine and I show up at one late. From TV Baby to Avid Reader I’ve always had an overactive imagination so I wrote; I wrote stories and poems and songs. Shelf Indulgence: On Reading (Part 1)

They say there are a thousand ways to skin a cat (why skin a cat… I have no idea), and there are hundreds of applications to read books on various devices. To be honest, I’m not a physical book reader. I’ve heard people talk about the feel of the paper or the scent of it; honestly, it does nothing for me. I’m a digital reader, I can’t help myself. I know what they say… it’s bad for your eyes (or something) but I don’t care. I Love Screens. I’ve loved them since I was yea high. My Favorite Reading Applications I have used so many applications to read over the years and I’ve got some computer applications that I’d like to recommend. These are not in any particular order, just in the order they came to me.
